Vivosa Apulia Resort and Masseria Fontanelle, the green model of Apulian hospitality among the protagonists of BTM Italy 2026

In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Ugento, just a few steps from one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in Salento, stands the Vivosa Apulia Resort, a 4-star eco-resort that represents one of the most advanced models of sustainable hospitality in Puglia and Italy.

Nestled in a context of great natural value, among pine forests, dunes, and crystal-clear sea, the resort has developed over the years a proposal that combines comfort, environmental awareness, and quality of services. The Luxury All Inclusive formula is designed to offer guests a complete experience, encompassing gastronomy, sports, wellness, and entertainment, catering to families, couples, and groups of friends.

The dining offer is one of the strengths of the facility, with rich and curated buffets based on local products and international proposals, complemented by bars and dining points active throughout the day, between the pool and the beach. Special attention is also given to specific dietary needs: Vivosa Apulia Resort has obtained the certification AIC – Italian Celiac Association, which attests to high safety standards in the management of gluten-free dining.

Ample space is reserved for sports activities and outdoor experiences. Guests can practice tennis, padel, beach volleyball, basketball, archery, or jogging along the trails of the natural park. Dedicated clubs and animation programs for children and teenagers are designed with an educational approach that respects the environment.

Wellness finds its maximum expression in the VOS – Vivosa Organic Spa, an area of about 800 square meters that includes a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, hammam, sensory showers, heated pool with hydromassage, and equipped fitness rooms. A path of relaxation and regeneration that has received international recognition.

Sustainability represents the soul of the Vivosa project. The resort adopts responsible management of water resources, uses solar energy, significantly reduces CO₂ emissions, almost completely limits the use of single-use plastics, and promotes advanced waste separation.

Thanks to energy efficiency interventions and emission offset projects certified by Kiwa, Vivosa Apulia Resort is now Carbon Positive, meaning it neutralizes and offsets more CO₂ than it produces. All these practices are certified by international standards such as Travelife Gold and ISO 14001, accompanied by environmental awareness initiatives aimed at guests.

The results of this virtuous path have also been recognized by major industry awards. In 2025, Vivosa Apulia Resort received significant accolades such as Best All Inclusive Resort in Italy at the World Travel Awards and Resort of the Year at the Food & Travel Awards. This is in addition to the Best Family Hotel at the International Travel Awards in Dubai and recently, Vivosa Apulia Resort was also a finalist at the Italian Tourism Awards, the “Oscars of Tourism”, at the ceremony hosted at the St. Regis in Rome, with nominations in the categories Best Hotel and Sustainable Tourism. An additional recognition that consolidates the role of the facility as a national and international reference point.

Masseria Fontanelle, sister property of Vivosa Apulia Resort, is a historic residence from the 1600s immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, just a few steps from the crystal-clear sea of Salento. With 35 elegant rooms, panoramic outdoor pools, and lounge areas, it offers an intimate and authentic stay.

The connection with the territory is an integral part of the experience: here the identity of the place is felt, seen, and lived. In the kitchen, the philosophy is km 0: local ingredients, seasonality, and a simple yet refined proposal that tells the story of Salento through its flavors. Wine tastings, Salentine evenings, walks among olive trees and trails of the Mediterranean scrub, as well as wellness paths by reservation, complete the experience, transforming each stay into an authentic immersion in the heart of the territory.

Looking to the future, Vivosa Apulia Resort and Masseria Fontanelle will be among the protagonists at Bari from February 25 to 27 for BTM 2026, confirming their presence as an excellence of Italian hospitality and a model of sustainable tourism with an international vocation, capable of enhancing the territory without renouncing innovation and quality.
