Sustainable tourism and work: new hires at Vivosa Apulia Resort

In the heart of Salento, where the summer season is preparing to come alive, tourism is also starting again from work: the Vivosa Apulia Resort is opening selections for new professional figures, focusing on a model that combines employment, sustainability, and employee well-being.

Recognized for the balance between high-level hospitality and respect for the environment, the resort boasts prestigious certifications such as Travelife Gold, Ecoresort, and ISO 14001, confirming its commitment to sustainable and responsible practices.

Nestled in the unspoiled nature of the Salento coast, the facility has become over the years a reference point for those seeking a high-quality tourist experience, recognized nationally and internationally for attention to detail and hospitality.

The same attention is given to collaborators. To help employees manage their work and family commitments better, the resort has hosted a free corporate nursery for children aged 3 to 10 for years, open from Monday to Saturday, a service designed to provide peace of mind for parents and safety for children.

«This project – explains the CEO, Damiano Reale – is a concrete way to thank our collaborators and, at the same time, to ensure the serenity necessary for them to work with greater motivation and tranquility. Every initiative we implement, from the corporate nursery to continuous training, stems from the idea that work should integrate with people's lives, creating a balance between motivation and concrete results».

All this translates into a careful selection of resources, training programs, salaries above the standards of the national collective labor agreement for the tourism and hospitality sector, and high-quality working conditions. Furthermore, the facility will soon receive an important recognition, the B Corp, an ethical certification that identifies companies committed to operating with high standards of social and environmental responsibility, balancing economic results with a positive impact on people, communities, and the environment.

This integrated approach not only values every team member but also directly contributes to creating a serene and motivating atmosphere, essential for ensuring a superior quality service to guests and an unforgettable tourist experience.

«Being a B Corp oriented company means choosing a path of transparency, sustainability, and attention to human value: we are proud to move in this direction and to build a model that can be a positive example for other realities. The well-being of our collaborators is not an option – explains the general manager, Veronica Milo – but a fundamental element to ensure the quality of service and to provide guests with an experience in harmony with the natural beauty of the territory. A serene and motivated team is indeed the key to offering truly excellent hospitality».

Now Vivosa Apulia Resort is looking for passionate and motivated professionals, ready to grow in a dynamic, sustainable reality that cares about the well-being of its collaborators. The facility thus confirms itself as an example of welfare and social responsibility, where environment, people, and quality of hospitality coexist in perfect harmony.
