Puglia's hospitality conquers Dubai. The Vivosa Apulia Resort awarded at the International Travel Awards 2025

Puglia's hospitality shines in Dubai.

The Vivosa Apulia Resort in Ugento (Le) was the protagonist of the International Travel Awards 2025, the ceremony that highlights the most representative and innovative realities in the hospitality sector, winning first place in the “Best Family Hotel” category.

Already known for its commitment to sustainability and for its recognitions at the European level, the Ugento resort, with its presence at such a prestigious event, helps to spotlight the Apulian territory and the sustainable and quality hospitality model that has characterized tourism in Salento for years.

The International Travel Awards, organized by Golden Tree Events Dubai, brings together hundreds of operators and brands from over a hundred countries each year and awards the realities that stand out for innovation, quality of hospitality, and attention to sustainability, in the categories of Luxury Hotels, Sustainable Resorts, Family Hotels, and Wellness Destinations.

In an increasingly global context attentive to the balance between comfort, well-being, and respect for the environment, the structure confirms itself as an ambassador of Puglia in the world, promoting a tourism model capable of enhancing both the natural landscape and local culture.

“Being present at a worldwide event like the one in Dubai – says Damiano Reale, CEO of Vivosa – is a way to tell the story of Puglia in its most authentic and innovative face. Every time our territory takes the global stage, interest grows towards a tourism model that combines quality, identity, and sustainability.”

To explain the value of the award and the attention to families is Veronica Milo, Sales & Marketing Director: “We received the Best Family Hotel award for the quality of hospitality and the attention dedicated to families. Our EcoKids program, with the ceramics workshop and the turtle workshop, brings children closer to biodiversity through playing by learning. We promote a serene and authentic environment, free from cell phones and bullying, where respect and the discovery of nature are at the center of the experience.”

Participation in the Dubai ceremony confirms the ability of Salento and the entire Puglia to project itself onto global scenarios, promoting a tourism model that intertwines tradition, sustainability, and a contemporary approach.
