From May 6 to 8, the Business Tourism Management (BTM) “InterAzioni, Special Edition” will be held in Maratea, promoted by the Apt, with the sponsorship and collaboration of the Municipality of Maratea and the fishing Gal “The citadel of knowledge”. This is an itinerant format of BTM Italy aimed at strengthening the positioning of the destination in national and international markets and creating new opportunities for local operators through B2B, networking, and a fam trip dedicated to discovering Maratea and the surrounding area. “We strongly wanted to reaffirm the presence of the BTM in Basilicata, after the first Special edition last September in Metapontino, because we believe it is useful to bring networking opportunities directly to our territory for our operators, combining the direct experience of our destination at the work tables. On the other hand, our activity plan for 2026 is very focused on business - declares the General Director of Apt, Margherita Sarli - we had the True in Matera a few days ago and we have reaffirmed for the autumn the Roots in. On May 6 and 7, buyers and industry journalists will be the protagonists of a fam trip to discover local excellences, experiencing the tourist offer of Maratea and the surrounding areas directly. The journey will culminate on May 8 in the halls of the Grand Hotel Pianeta with a day dedicated to B2B meetings, a key moment to promote the commercialization of the offer and the opening towards new markets; afternoon workshops designed as real toolkits and an institutional talk at 6:20 PM.
