BTM Italia is also present at TTG – Travel Experience, the main Italian marketplace for the tourism and hospitality sector, taking place until Friday at the Rimini Exhibition Center
The 62nd edition travels at the rhythm of an emblematic theme: “Awake to a new era”, an invitation to awaken to a new era of tourism, based on awareness, quality, and collaboration.
“The chosen title is an evident invitation to awaken from habits – explained Maurizio Ermeti, president of Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) –. Since the Covid period, tourists and the very idea of travel have changed: today everyone seeks authenticity, motivation, and involvement. TTG and InOut offer a platform of ideas to build together the new era of tourism.”
The ribbon-cutting yesterday was entrusted to Minister Daniela Santanchè, who defined tourism as “a bridge of peace”, reiterating the importance of promoting tourism development without discrimination between countries. The minister also emphasized the need to enhance Italy in its entirety: “We must become a Nation of quality, not quantity – she explained in her speech -. 75% of visitors are currently concentrated in 4% of the territory. We must take care of the other 96%, raising standards and services and promoting lesser-known destinations.”
The events TTG Travel Experience and InOut | The Hospitality Community, open until tomorrow, bring together 2,700 exhibiting brands across 26 pavilions and 1,000 buyers from 75 countries, confirming Rimini as the Italian capital of professional tourism.
BTM Italia is also present with the project “365 days in Puglia”, which represents the entire supply chain of Puglia tourism through our publications of excellence, such as the eponymous guide and the magazine Puglia Review. These are not simply informational tools, but real means to tell the identity, culture, and experience of the territory, to enhance local excellences and attract visitors.
“Fairs tell the present of tourism, but above all they outline the future, enhancing the identity and creativity of the territories. The TTG is the most important event in Italy and among the most esteemed in Europe, and for me it is a source of inspiration, an unmissable appointment – states Nevio D’Arpa, CEO of BTM Italia –. A moment of discussion and planning that allows us to dialogue with our partners and strengthen collaborations in view of BTM Italia 2026, scheduled in Bari on February 25, 26, and 27, 2026 with the theme re-generating.”
BTM Italia's participation at TTG in Rimini reaffirms the importance of fairs and tourism as crucial sectors for the Italian economy. In an increasingly competitive global context, industry fairs become true laboratories of innovation and relationships, capable of tracing the new era of Italian tourism.
