On September 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, the Berlingieri Castle in Policoro, located on Via degli Artigiani, will host the BTM InterAzioni B2B – Special Edition Basilicata Ionica, an event wanted and supported by APT Basilicata, designed to connect local tourism operators with selected international buyers.
The initiative represents a concrete opportunity for local structures and businesses that aim to expand their business, establish agreements with foreign markets, and enhance the Lucanian tourism offer from a strategic perspective.
22 buyers are expected from key areas such as Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, Bulgaria, and Australia, with specializations ranging from luxury tourism to experiential, from MICE to organized travel.
In the days leading up to the event, on September 17 and 18, the buyers will participate in a fam trip that will take them to discover destinations and attractions along the Ionian coast, featuring crystal-clear seas, archaeological sites, food and wine, and authentic hospitality.
The program is not limited to the B2B: in the afternoon of September 19, panels and workshops are scheduled on highly relevant topics for the sector, such as automation and hotel customer care using artificial intelligence, revenue management in the era of post-modern tourism, nature and biodiversity as drivers of attractiveness, and data analysis to outline the development prospects of the Basilicata destination.
