From May 6 to 8, the “pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea” will host the itinerant format of BTM Italy aimed at strengthening the positioning of the destination in national and international markets and creating new opportunities for local operators. The initiative, wanted and supported by APT Basilicata, was announced by General Director Margherita Sarli during BTM Italy 2026.
Buyers and industry journalists will be the protagonists of an immersive fam trip to discover local excellences, directly experiencing the tourist offer of Maratea and the surrounding areas. A fundamental experience that will allow transforming the knowledge of the destination into a commercial product, strengthening the positioning and sales capacity in the markets through direct contact with places, services, and territorial identities.
The journey will culminate on May 8 in the halls of the Grand Hotel Pianeta with a day dedicated to B2B meetings, a key moment to promote the commercialization of the offer and open up to new markets.
