Giovanni Maria De Vita is Head of Office VI – Roots Tourism at the Directorate General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. He coordinates institutional initiatives to promote roots tourism, including the implementation of the dedicated PNRR investment. Since 2018, he has coordinated the Technical Committee on Roots Tourism and has extensive experience in policies supporting Italian communities worldwide.
