Damiano Reale, born in 1961 in Lecce, grew up in the historic Villa Carrelli, immersed in the beauty of its gardens designed by renowned landscape architect Pietro Porcinai. It is precisely this profound connection to the land and the harmony of the landscape that has shaped his personal and professional journey.
After studying agriculture in California and gaining significant professional experience in the United States, he chose to return to his beloved Salento with a clear vision: to promote the region and its products, projecting them onto the international stage.
Founder of Vigneti Reale, president of the Consorzio del Salice Salentino, and creator of Vivosa Apulia Resort and Masseria Fontanelle, Damiano Reale interprets entrepreneurship as an art of balance: between tradition and innovation, between roots and vision, between local culture, authentic hospitality, and sustainable luxury.
