On social media, she's known as the queen of pasta makers in the old town of Bari. She's, in fact, one of the historic makers of Puglia's iconic pasta: orecchiette.
She's been making handmade orecchiette since she was a child, just as her grandmother and mother taught her, always there in her house on Via Arco Basso, a street also known as the "Street of Orecchiette." That alley, that street, and her house have become must-sees for tourists and fans who visit Nunzia to watch her at work and take photos and videos with her.
