Dietitian, researcher, and expert in culinary medicine. A member of the scientific committee of the Scientific Association of Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics (ASAND) and the Mediterranean Diet Foundation, he is co-developer of the national guidelines on the Mediterranean diet published by the Italian National Institute of Health.
With Professor Vincenza Gianfredi, he is the author of "The Mediterranean Diet. A Journey Through Science, Tradition, and Ancient Flavors to Discover the Secret of Longevity," Gribaudo (2024).
