Flavio Veccaro is a professional in the non-hotel, travel tech, and startup sectors with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Monopoli, after starting out in the luxury masserie sector in Puglia and tourist villages on Lake Garda, he moved to Rome for studies and began working in the events, F&B, art galleries, and short-term rental sectors as an operations manager and business developer. After years of traveling around the world, he founded CVS Roma and tourvirtuale.org, providing services to hundreds of property managers, overseeing their management, marketing, and growth. He subsequently developed a passion for the startup world, collaborating with the Roman accelerator Ala/34 on various projects, before joining Vikey, first as Head of Sales and subsequently as Head of Product & Partnerships, helping the development team take Vikey from pre-seed to exit stage in six years. Eager for new challenges, after contributing to the nationwide adoption of self-check-in, both commercially and administratively, he decided to accept the role of Market Manager Italy for Guesty, a global leader in vacation rental PMS, to introduce it to the Italian market. He has participated in hundreds of events, including international ones, as an industry expert and panelist. He holds a diploma in tourism, a master's degree in fashion and costume management from Sapienza University, and two master's degrees, one in Event Marketing from LUMSA and the other in Tourism Management from UpLevel Business School.
