Nicolò Andreula is an economist, strategic consultant, and university professor. He studied at Bocconi University in Milan and INSEAD in Fontainebleau, and has traveled the world for work and passion: Head of the Business Development Unit at Finmeccanica in Russia, Senior Manager at McKinsey in London, and Principal at AlphaBeta in Singapore, as well as brief professional stints at Goldman Sachs, the UN, and the administration of Medellin, Colombia.
Driven by nostalgia and a love for family, focaccia, and the Mediterranean, he returned to Bari, where he founded Disal Consulting—a boutique firm providing research, consulting, and training to major Italian companies (TIM and Poste Italiane), digital giants (Netflix and Amazon), multilateral institutions (World Economic Forum and Asian Development Bank), and national governments (France and China).
He has invested in successful startups such as WaterSpeed and Marshmellow and organizes ABCD, the largest event on the future of work and social innovation in Southern Italy, every year: "A Bari Capitale Digitale."
He has been a Fellow of the Aspen Institute in Italy and the Raisina Dialogue in India, teaches at the Nanyang Business School in Singapore, and directs a master's program in digital entrepreneurship at H-Farm.
After the success of his first book ("Flow Generation - survival manual for unpredictable lives"), he published "Phygital - the new marketing between physical and digital" with Hoepli and launched his podcast "Whatever it Waves - confessions of a consultant and travel notes for surfing stress," which climbed the Spotify charts.
In his spare time, he devotes himself to surfing, with limited results but a great deal of passion.
