Personal data

A graduate with honors in Transportation Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari with a Master's degree, he has been a member of the National Council of Engineers since 2001. He began his career at the FS Group in 2002, holding roles of increasing responsibility in each of the Group's companies. Since March 2025, he has been CEO of Trenitalia, where he focuses on innovation and fleet expansion. Over the years at the FS Group, he has developed cross-functional expertise in strategic railway assets, contributing to the growth of one of the largest industrial companies in the country. He is currently President of AGENS and CIFI.
