Cristina Nadotti, Ligurian by birth but Sardinian by adoption, worked at Repubblica from 2003 to 2024, after stints at local newspapers and the newspaper's newly launched website. Always interested in environmental issues, she worked in the foreign section at Repubblica, reporting and reporting from European and non-European countries. She participated in the innovative iPad daily RSera project and worked in the national news section. From May 2021 to November 2024, she was at Green&Blue, the Gedi Group's content hub dedicated to ecological transition and the environment. In April 2025, her book, "Il turismo che non paga," a thoughtful investigation into the economic and social dynamics underlying the phenomenon of overtourism, was published by Edizioni Ambiente.
