Paola Mercogliano is Principal Scientist at the CMCC Foundation and current President of SISC. For over 20 years, she has transformed data and research on weather, climate, and impacts into concrete decisions for local communities and organizations. She leads a multidisciplinary team focused on high-resolution modeling, extreme events, and climate risk assessment, and collaborates with institutions and businesses to co-design climate services that make climate change scenarios and analyses useful for planning, investments, and resilience. She is the author of over 100 scientific papers.
