Massimo Salomone is an entrepreneur in the tourism, logistics, and international relations sectors, with extensive experience in the development of regional systems. CEO of Asco Srl, an international freight forwarder, and technical director of travel agencies specializing in conference organization (MICE), he coordinates the Tourism Section of Confindustria Puglia and is President of the Tourism Section of Confindustria Bari and BAT, participating in the definition of public policies and development strategies for the competitiveness, sustainability, and deseasonalization of tourism systems. He is Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the regions of Puglia and Basilicata and is a member of the Central-Southern territorial committee of Banco BPM. With a focus on training, he collaborates with ITS Turismo, the University of Bari, and Lum. In 2021, he was awarded the honor of Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
