How BTM InterAzioni was born

BTM has always aimed to be a stable and active platform throughout the year, across the regional and national territory.
This is how BTM InterAzioni was born.

The itinerant format was born from BTM's need to disseminate valuable content and good practices beyond the 3 days of the fair, with the goal of creating an active and direct dialogue with local institutions, businesses, hoteliers, and tourism operators of territories and destinations. An experience that interacts and dialogues with the host communities to become, thus, an activator of ‘territorial vitality’

BTM InterAzioni PROJECT IDEA

BMT InterAzioni aims to transcend the boundaries of the location hosting it and merge with the local socio-cultural fabric, to convey the brand experience to buyers and to a wider audience beyond the sector, contributing on one hand to the positioning of the destination, and on the other, to the de-seasonalization and diversification of the tourist product

Increasing incoming tourism is among the main actions of BTM InterAzioni and it does so by organizing:

- a targeted Famtrip (mini-educational) that will lead buyers and sector journalists to discover the most significant cultural, natural, and food & wine treasures of the territory

- a B2B workshop dedicated to the meeting between local and regional tourism demand and supply
The B2B involves the participation of national and international buyers (tour operators, travel agencies, meeting and congress organizers) and travel and lifestyle journalists carefully selected by the BTM organization who show great interest in the destination. In the B2B, they will meet regional sellers (hoteliers, tourism operators, and local businesses) to establish strategic partnerships The second objective of the format is professional training and debate on tourism topics of strong relevance and future vision, but also on trends that the territory wants to embrace, proposing an afternoon session with workshops, toolkits, talks, and panels. This activity is aimed at hoteliers and tourism operators, institutions, and local and regional administrators and is designed to contribute to the training of human capital employed in the tourism sector At the end of the day, to facilitate the InterAzioni, operators will be involved and entertained by a tasting moment of typical products presented by some excellent companies from the hosting territory curated by BTM Gusto - the BTM section dedicated to Food & Wine Tourism. BTM InterAzioni has already reached destinations such as Lecce, Otranto, Brindisi, Taranto, Trani, Monte Sant'Angelo, Lucera and Monti Dauni, Alghero and Matera
